Großmutters Kekse für alle Gelegenheiten

Großmutters Kekse für alle Gelegenheiten 003

sorgte für Plätzchen am 2. Advent.

Thank you so much Ulrike, for choosing this recipe… I had great fun baking it!
I see that you’ve added the nice European touch to yours… sucre casson, is pretty hard to find in North America! …I always make it a point to fill up a case when I travel on your side of the pond! Lovely!

Thanks for the great choice, Ulrike! These cookies were good, and I used some cookie cutters I bought in Germany. The slice and bake ones look delicious with that wonderful sprinkling of sugar; how smart to use your bread slicer!

Awesome choice – I really enjoyed decorating these, and they gave me an excuse to try out royal icing :) Yours look awesome, and I really need to get some coarse sugar. You just reminded me :P

Thank you so much for hosting this week! I had a lot of fun with this recipe and everyone loved the finished product. I too appreciated the simplicity of the recipe, although I didn’t let it stay simple for very long :)

This was a great choice for a cookie this week. I love this recipe and after seeing what everyone did with it I am inspired to make them again. I only made one sheet of cookies for my twd post and saved for the rest when my daughter comes home for Christmas. We will have so much decorating them!!

    Thanks again!!

Your cookies are beautiful. I love that sugar on top.
