This month Cate from Sweetnicks ask for foodblogger’s tried-and-true recipe file. That’s very easy: As an “uber-organized German” I use my computer to manage my recipes. I use a very good program, which is free of charge and has a very good support. It’s only available in German but it understands English. With this programm I maintain several cookbooks. I have two for my tried-and-true recipe files:
One in English
and one in German
You’ll find all the recipes in a written form in ring binders between other cookbooks.
The blue ring binder contains bread recipes, the red one the desserts and cakes and the white in the middle has all the other. The recipes are in a clear plastic folder, so you can use it with a holder in the kitchen.
perfect!
now that’s great! being an uber-organized austrian myself i need to download that software right away! thanks for sharing!
Being a scattered American I wish you were here to organize my recipe’s!! :D
Thanks for the link!
Ulrike,
I used to think that I am very organised with my recipe files and folders. But apparently I am not. Like I don’t have the programme that you use. Must go and download it now. Thanks for sharing the link with us.
