This week’s recipe on page 264-265 from Baking: From My Home to Yours*: Caramel-Peanut-Topped Brownie Cake has been chosen by Tammy of Wee Treats by Tammy.
This was my contribution for the quarterly working breakfast. I brought the whole
Caramel-Peanut-Topped Brownie Cake
cake to the buffet on a platter.
The cake is very rich, but tasty. You should only make it if you have to please a crowd.
Although I have those cups I convert every recipe to metric units and weigh everything. With the help of this site I know that 1 cup of peanuts is the equivalent of 145 grams. In Germany salted peanuts normally comes in tins of 200 grams, so I used the whole tin.
