I made the recipe during the hot days in Northern Germany before we started into vacation. My blueberries still have ways to go, although they are more blue than in the picture. I found a package of frozen summerberries in my freezer, which I used instead of frozen blueberries. The
Summerberry-Sour Cream Ice Cream
was delicous and gone in a few minutes. Very creamy!
I didn’t drain the thawed berries, I cooked it with preserving sugar, that thickens a bit and strained the puree through a sieve to remove the kernels.
